Lemon Turmeric Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup fresh Lemon juice
  • 2 Lemons – zest
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Candied Orange Peels
  • Fresh Mint

Directions

  1. Combine the water, honey, sugar, lemon juice, zest and turmeric in a pot and warm until the sugar melts. Once cool, place in a blender and process until smooth.
  2. Transfer to a deli cup or a container with a top. Place in the refrigerator over night.
  3. Put the mixture into an ice cream machine and run until the liquid turns into a sorbet consistency.
  4. Return the mixture into the deli cup or container and place in the freezer to fully set overnight.
  5. To serve, scoop two quenelles in a bowl. Garnish with candied orange peels and mint. Enjoy!
