Citrus + Honey Simple Syrup

Recipe provided by Chef Crusco Catering in Austin, Texas



  1. Take the leftover orange syrup from candied orange peels and add honey and water.
  2. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Turn off heat, add rosemary and let steep for 20 minutes.
  4. Cool down and store in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator.,
  5. It may be used as a syrup to moisten cakes, sweeten your tea or make a delicious cocktail. Enjoy!
