Peach Cocktail

Recipe provided by Austin Personal Chef: Carlos Crusco Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp. peach puree (1 peach, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 lemon for juice mixed in a blender)
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 6 leaves fresh mint
  • 2-3 oz. Cognac or Bourbon
  • 1 oz. Pellegrino sparkling water
*Note – multiply ingredients by the # of cocktails you need to make Directions
  1. Add peach puree, sugar, and 1 teaspoon water in a small microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 30 seconds. Stir to dissolve sugar, and allow mixture to cool a bit.
  2. Muddle the mint leaves in a glass about 45 seconds. Remove some of the mint solids and discard. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine peach mixture and cognac, and shake until well chilled.
  4. Strain cognac mixture over ice in the glass, add some sparkling water to give it some fizz and mix.
  5. Garnish with a peach slice, some mint and enjoy!
