Melons + Jamon Serrano

Ingredients

  • 1 small seedless watermelon
  • 1 small sugar kiss melon
  • 1 green melon
  • 4 slices Jamon Serrano – Spanish cured Ham – broken into small pieces
  • 1 small bunch Arugula
  • 1- 2 tbsps. EVOO – for dressing
  • Pinch Sea salt

Directions

  1. Prepare all the melons using a melon baller. Set each aside.
  2. Dress the arugula in a small bowl with 1 tbsp. of EVOO and sea salt. Set aside.
  3. To plate, place the different colored melons around the plate or platter.
  4. Tear the spanish ham into small pieces and place them around and on the melon too.
  5. Take the arugula and place them on and around the melon balls. If wanted, dress with more EVOO and sea salt. Serve immediately with a glass of Albarino (Spanish white wine). Enjoy!
