Citrus + Gorgonzola Dates

Recipe provided by Chef Crusco Catering in Austin, TX


  • 10 Medjool Dates (cut in half and pitted)
  • 2-3 ounces of Gorgonzola Dolce
  • 20 Smoked and Salted Almonds
  • 1 Orange (Zest only)
  • 2-3 tbsps. Orange Blossom Honey
  • Parsley – leaves for garnish


  1. Cut the dates in half lengthwise and remove the seed.
  2. Take a pinch of Gorgonzola and place inside one half of the date. Repeat for all.
  3. Place an almond on top. Dress with honey and Orange Zest.
  4. Garnish with parsley and serve with a glass of champagne. Enjoy!
