Argentine Caprese

Recipe provided by Chef Crusco Catering in Austin, TX.


  • 2 Beef Steak, Heirloom or Vine Ripe Tomatoes – sliced 1/2 inch thick
  • Pecorino Romano Cheese – cut into very thin slices
  • Chef Crusco’s Chimichurri
  • Sea Salt and fresh Ground Pepper


  1. Slice the tomatoes and place on a platter or large plate.
  2. Top each tomato slice with a slice of Pecorino Romano Cheese.
  3. Drizzle the tomatoes with Chef Crusco’s Chimichurri Sauce.
  4. Season it all with Sea Salt and fresh ground Pepper. Enjoy!
